White Chalk

A newer edition to Phuket Town’s coffee shop collection, White Chalk Cafe is a place where customers can decorate with activities like drawing artworks on the blackboard walls! The logo is a combination of the Chinese years of the owners (a cute local couple) where she is the “Year of the Horse” and he is the “Year of the Goat” – the result looks similar to a Llama.

The “LOL” dish, otherwise known as the chocolate lava cake, is served with ice cream, whipped cream and strawberries. The toasted fish cake was the first instant hit when they first opened (with a choice of 6 different fillings and 4 different toppings). Lastly, we have the “Frozen” – Thai milk tea flavored shredded ice (a popular local dessert in this heat) – topped with Oreos, toast cubes, jelly and whipped cream!

At White Chalk Dessert Cafe, all sweets are homemade as the owner uses recipes collected from her travels in Europe. With help from a professional who graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in France, White Chalk produces desserts not widely seen in Phuket.

Ice creams are kept in extremely cold temperatures so they will be at the perfect texture by the time the guests finish their selfies and photos!
