With a simple, yet well-rounded menu, Baba Beach Club, located on the stunning Natai Beach in Phang Nga, is serving up delicious food with amazing views and a laid-back beach vibe. The intimate property is adorned with large lawn pillows, low tables, a bar made from a refurbished VW bus and tons of grass and space to relax in the sun. Inside doubles as a sales gallery for the absolutely gorgeous Baba Beach Club Private Residences by Sri Panwa, and an indoor bar fashioned by a lovely sapphire blue wooden cabinet matching the beautiful colors of the sea.

Fitted with large couches with throw pillows and beautiful wood tables, the indoor space offers air conditioning and panoramic views of the property and beach. Menu items range from simple starters, delicious mains and many Thai favorites – each with large portions and perfected recipes. A wonderful way to start your beachside meal is with the Goong Sarong and Chicken Wings. The Goong Sarong – prawn wrapped in crispy noodles – was excellent, fresh and had subtle butter notes, which were cut with sprits of fresh lime. The Chicken Wings were an amazing combination of Western and Thai flavors. Cooked until crispy, the chicken was still tender and infused with lemongrass and chili; perfect amount of food and the perfect amount of heat to get your appetite going.

As for the mains, Baba Beach Club boasts a great selection of Western favorites and Thai classics and we were lucky to sample dishes from each! To start, we were offered a beautiful looking Australian Wagyu beef burger on a soft bun topped with tons of fresh veggies. The beef was tender, yet dense and full of flavor while the bun offered a lovely texture next to the crisp lettuce and ripe tomatoes. It is also worth noting that this lovely burger is served with excellent french fries and can be made with lamb or chicken. For our Thai dishes, we were served enormous portions of Squid Ink Spaghetti and Pad Thai Goong. Equally as beautiful to look at, the Squid Ink Pasta was fresh and cooked to perfection with loads of fresh, tender squid mixed throughout – a perfect meal that could easily feed two! The Pad Thai Goong was chock-full of beautiful pink shrimp and accompanied by all of the wonderful sides to add to your Pad Thai to give it that crisp, fresh flavor, such as sprouts, peanuts and lime. This too could have easily fed two and is a great dish to enjoy beachside.

Since we ended our mains on a Thai note, we decided to keep the theme going with our dessert – a lovely plate of fresh mango and sticky rice. This was the perfect way to end a beautiful meal with the ripe mango, buttery sticky rice and sweet drizzle of coconut milk!

So if it is a laid-back beach vibe with excellent cuisine, refreshing drinks and an incredible atmosphere you are in search of, make sure to check out Baba Beach Club, which will be fully operational in August!
